Director Of Business Development

EBC have partnered with a world-renowned engineering solutions consultancy as they seek a director of business development to manage their relationships with key UK manufacturing clients and proactively bring new clients on.
The role is a remote role with travel required across the UK.
Driving sales and business development activities around their plant engineering services.
This role will include: developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing key client relationships, and achieving sales targets in the industrial manufacturing sector.
You will work closely with engineering teams, understand client needs, and offer tailored solutions that meet their plant engineering requirements for the segment.
Key Responsibilities: Sales strategy and planning Business development Proposal and contract management Collaboration and coordination Reporting and analytics Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering ideally.
Experience in sales, business development, or account management in plant engineering or a related sector.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue in a B2B environment.
Strong understanding of plant engineering processes, technologies, and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
