Job Summary

Millrise Medical Practice is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments as needed.
  • Process patient registration, including collecting demographic information and updating patient records.
  • Handle patient communication, including phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a medical or administrative setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
