Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is approximately £35,000 per annum, including a bonus up to 20%. Job DescriptionWe're seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Lead to join our team. As the Commercial Sales Lead, you will play a key role in supporting Business Stream's corporate strategy by acquiring, retaining, and preventing churn among our SME customers. You will lead the existing and growing outbound telesales team within the sales directorate.
Your primary objective will be to drive sales growth through effective customer engagement and relationship-building. This will involve using data-driven approaches to build cost-effective campaigns and offers that deliver results. You'll also need to have experience in managing outbound customer save and retention teams ideally in the utilities sector or other mass market sectors to achieve stretching daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the outbound telesales team to achieve sales targets
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to acquire and retain customers
- Maintaining accurate records and reports to inform business decisions
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A strong background in sales leadership, preferably in the utilities sector
- Experience in managing outbound customer save and retention teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to analyze data and make informed business decisions
- Candidate must be able to quickly build productive relationships with customers and colleagues alike
