We are seeking a skilled Home from Home Coordinator to lead our foster scheme, providing care and support to dogs in need.

About this role:

  • Recruit, manage, and support a team of volunteer foster carers.
  • Monitor dog progress, conducting regular phone calls and home visits.
  • Transport dogs to foster placements, veterinary appointments, and meet potential adopters.
  • Collaborate with Centre staff and other departments on marketing and rehoming efforts.

About you:

You will be a confident communicator, able to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy. We require someone with a positive attitude, experience in dog handling and rehoming, and strong administrative skills.

Our rehoming centres are the face of Dogs Trust, and our staff pride themselves on providing exceptional customer service. As a Home from Home Coordinator, you will be part of a dedicated team working together to make a difference in the lives of dogs.

What you need to know:

This role requires a full, clean, manual driving licence, as driving will be an essential part of the job. The working hours are 8am-4:30pm or 11:30am-8pm, 5 days a week, with flexibility to discuss at interview.
