Job Title: Training Manager for Pathology CSU

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced individual to lead the delivery of education and training across the Pathology CSU. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing training and education programs, working closely with the Head of Profession, Deputy Head of Profession, and Pathology Quality Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of education and training across the Pathology CSU
  • Chair the Pathology Training and Development Group
  • Contribute to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of workforce development strategies
  • Undertake training needs assessments and develop education strategies to address them
  • Work with clinical directors and heads of profession to establish and maintain databases of educational development and needs of staff
  • Coordinate local access to education resources and applications for nationally delivered workshops and programs

Requirements:

  • Professional registration in a relevant field
  • Recognised educational qualification
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Ability to work using own initiative and flexibility within working patterns
  • Demonstrates political astuteness, facilitation skills, and ability to analyse complex information
  • Competent/advanced presentation, written, and verbal communication skills

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
