Job Title: Activity Development Specialist

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Activity Development Specialist to join our team at CV-Library in Maidstone, Kent. As a key member of our social care department, you will be responsible for planning and delivering vibrant activities for residents across all units in the home.

You will spend 80% of your time delivering engaging and stimulating experiences, working closely with the community to develop effective relationships and promote the home through strong external links.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with older people, delivering high-quality relationship-centered care, and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 80% of working time on vibrant activities, meeting the needs of resident groups.
  • Lead on the design, development, and implementation of the home newsletter.
  • Build strong external links within the local community.
  • Organise local charity events hosted within the home.
  • Ensure regulatory and statutory requirements are met.
Person Specification
  • NVQ HSC level 3 or QCF HSC award 3 (or higher).
  • Experience of working with older people.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Data management skills.
