Learning Disability Support Specialist

Supporting young people with learning disabilities to lead a more independent life is a rewarding role that requires a caring and empathetic nature. As a Learning Disability Support Specialist, you will work with individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs, providing therapeutic care and support to enable them to progress through a care pathway.
Vetro Social Care is seeking experienced professionals to work in a bespoke specialist service. As a Learning Disability Support Specialist, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to help individuals with complex needs live as independently as possible.
- Key requirements:
- At least 6 months experience of working in a social care setting
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Right to work in the UK
- Driver with access to own vehicle (desirable)
