Job Overview:

BROOK STREET UK are seeking a motivated and compassionate Residential Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing support to adults with disabilities within our residential settings and the wider community.

About the Position:

  • You will be working closely with our clients to develop their life skills, promote independence, and encourage engagement in community activities.
  • Your role will involve maintaining accurate records of individual progress, participating in team meetings, and contributing to the overall well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Providing emotional and physical support to individuals with disabilities, including personal care and household tasks.
  • Encouraging participation in community activities and promoting independence.
  • Maintaining accurate records of individual progress and contributing to team meetings.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of [Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum] salary, commensurate with experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
