We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Clinical Psychologist in our Learning Disability Service. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to patients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience in working with individuals with learning disabilities, a strong understanding of psychological theories and models, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the development of new services and programs aimed at improving patient outcomes and experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to inform treatment plans and interventions;
  2. Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address complex behavioral and emotional issues;
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of service;
  4. Maintain accurate records and report on patient progress and outcomes;
  5. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and research findings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

A doctoral degree in clinical psychology or a related field;Registration with the UK's Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC);Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.What We Offer
