Learning Disability Support Professional

We are seeking an experienced Learning Disability Support Worker to join our award-winning service in Swansea.
About the RoleYou will provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs. This includes observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of their conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
- Provide individualized support to enable individuals to lead a more independent life.
- Work collaboratively with a team of multi-disciplinary professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Assist individuals in developing skills and strategies to manage their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with autism and associated complex needs.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Monitor and record individual progress.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months experience of working within a social care setting.
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK.
