We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Lead - Higher Education to join our International Sales team at Acuro Associates Ltd.
This pivotal role will play a key part in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets within the Higher Education sector. As a trusted advisor to our clients, you will leverage your extensive experience and leadership capabilities to identify new business opportunities and consistently embody company values.
About the Role
As a Sales Lead - Higher Education, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing key client relationships, developing strategic sales plans, and fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. You will work closely with management to set performance expectations and provide leadership within the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement a strategic sales strategy and tactical plan for assigned regions and accounts, focusing on a holistic approach to sales that goes beyond individual transactions.
- Work closely with management to provide leadership within the sales team by setting performance expectations and fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Build long-term relationships with multiple stakeholders across the library and faculty to support negotiating and closing business.
Requirements
- 5+ years of successful sales/account management experience within academic publishing or edtech.
- Able to close perpetual and subscription-based opportunities from £50-£500K.
- Have the ability to build effective relationships quickly, with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Be well-organized with good prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Happy with 30-40% international travel.
