About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our successful team in Global Marine and Navy. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with strategic clients, driving sales growth, improving business strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction, primarily within the Cruise market sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Take ownership and accountability of nominated customer accounts, develop, and implement strategic account plans to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Growth and Development: Achieve assigned sales targets and drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand market share.
  • Business Strategy Development: Collaborate with sales and operations teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes and maintain strong relationships.
  • Solution Promotion and Delivery: Promote JCI digital solutions and sustainability solutions to generate and secure PSA opportunities, and ensure timely delivery of solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Customer Satisfaction and Engagement: Maintain high customer satisfaction, addressing client concerns, and resolving issues promptly, and create and lead customer engagement initiatives to improve customer perception of JCI.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of Strategic Account Management experience with a proven track record.
  • Ability to design and implement Strategic Account Plans.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Demonstrable ability to identify, establish, and develop relationships in client organizations.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Proactive and results-driven approach to sales with an ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and financial communication skills; excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible between autonomous and team-based work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the Marine markets, with a particular focus on aftersales relationships with operators and owners.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency solutions, building automation, HVAC, and fire systems.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
