About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Account Director to lead a high-value, legacy account encompassing global and EU medical affairs and commercial work. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise and build upon a long-standing, successful client partnership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Plans: Craft programs, finalize budgets, and steer the account towards client goals.
  • Lead a High-Performing Team: Guide your team to develop and execute impactful campaigns that meet Ogilvy Health's high standards.
  • Foster a Culture of Accountability: Empower team members to take pride in their work and drive results.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Anticipate client needs, proactively address challenges, and provide strategic counsel.
  • Drive Business Growth: Master the account's financials, ensure optimal resource allocation, and drive profitability.
Requirements
  • Scientific Acumen: The ability to understand and communicate complex scientific data and medical concepts to diverse audiences is essential.
  • Therapeutic Area Expertise: Deep knowledge in specific therapeutic areas relevant to the agency's clients is highly valuable.
  • Client Focus: A passion for understanding client needs, goals, and challenges, with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to develop and execute strategic account plans that align with client objectives and drive business growth.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, and profitability to ensure account health and maximize revenue.
