Account Director Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Account Director to join our National Markets UK Broker team at Markel. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing account plans to ensure Markel is a preferred insurer for our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and develop account plans with strategic brokers to drive revenue growth and ensure Markel's strategic goals are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key personnel at broker offices to ensure effective communication and delivery of plans.
  • Lead day-to-day key relationships at central and local levels within the broker organization to ensure strategic development plans are well understood and implemented.
  • Work closely with the Head of Strategic's to support central engagement with partner brokers and provide results and feedback to meet jointly agreed targets.
  • Possess a deep understanding of Markel's risk appetite and the features, advantages, and benefits of our products and propositions.
  • Demonstrate a high level of sales professionalism and discipline through timely and accurate activity reporting and CRM maintenance.
