Strategic Account Manager

As a Strategic Account Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for driving growth for our largest and most strategic sellers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing holistic performance management and oversight for our top sellers, identifying and addressing any concerning performance trends, and escalating issues to leadership teams as needed.
- Developing and implementing best-in-class account management frameworks to build long-term, high-value relationships with key sellers, driving sustained, profitable growth for both the sellers and Amazon.
- Establishing data-driven processes to identify high-potential sellers across multiple marketplaces, using a scientific approach that can be scaled, and proactively engaging with and supporting the most promising sellers.
- Engaging directly with C-suite leaders at seller organizations to drive strategic alignment, influence long-term investments, and strengthen our partnerships.
- Effectively navigating the complexities of a matrixed organizational environment to deliver consistently strong results.
- Streamlining seller engagement and support, reducing pain points, and tailoring our assistance to each seller's unique needs, enhancing internal productivity while improving the seller experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in strategic account management, deep e-commerce expertise, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to drive change in a complex, fast-paced environment. BASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience in B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on hunting new business
- Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing opportunities across a wide spectrum of customer engagement levels
