About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager to join our UK Business, Pre-Sales Commercial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for structuring and articulating compelling commercial proposals for our UK Customers in the bid/tender process.

Working collaboratively with the Sales team, you will qualify, plan and nurture complex negotiations, ensuring value for our customers and sustainable profitable growth for Vodafone UK.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Commercial qualification of new opportunities identified by the Sales team.
  • Own and drive commercial strategy for winning business at optimal commercial KPIs.
  • Securing appropriate governance approval of commercial models and Financial KPIs.
  • At Handover, ensure agreed commercial contractual obligations and liabilities are clearly documented, and handed over to appropriate teams involved in delivery/execution of contract.

About You:

  • You must be an experienced Commercial and Contract Management professional with a proven track record in executing complex negotiations, with an ability to find pragmatic solutions; whether to resolve commercial disputes or close deals.
  • Financial Acumen including structuring cashflow models and associated KPI's.
  • Able to evaluate commercial risk and provide appropriate mitigation through commercial terms, contract conditions or delivery methodology.
  • Able to structure and articulate compelling commercial proposals considering market and customer insight.
  • Able to collaborate with and provide commercial thought leadership to a wide range of stakeholders from different business areas and have the credibility to influence stakeholders at all levels inclusive of C-suite.

Salary and Benefits:

  • An estimated salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum depending on experience.
