About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Educator to join our Diabetes Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in working with people with diabetes or another long-term condition.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Diabetes Team with non-clinical tasks and contribute to the evidence-based structured X-PERT group education for adult patients with Diabetes (Type 2) and X-POD Prevention of Diabetes programme.
  • Facilitate groups, assist in the delivery of structured X-PERT group education, and liaise closely with primary health care staff based in City and Hackney CCG.
  • Organize and plan educational events, including diabetes awareness sessions for City and Hackney residents.

As a valued member of our team, you will work alongside our existing Lay Educators and the Multi-Disciplinary Diabetes Team to provide high-quality education and support to patients.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in working with people with diabetes or another long-term condition.

  • Proven teaching skills and leadership abilities.
