Clinical Diabetes Management Specialist

The Diabetes Times is seeking an experienced Clinical Diabetes Management Specialist to lead our Tower Hamlet Community Diabetes Service. As a dynamic and enthusiastic professional, you will be responsible for managing the smooth running of community diabetes care across Tower Hamlet Borough.
Working closely with GP practices, you will deliver high-quality diabetes care to patients living with Type 1/Type 2 diabetes. Your specialist skills will enable you to work independently, providing management plans, treatment advice, and support for all adults with diabetes.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership and management skills, where you will be responsible for leading the on-going development of clinical practice and ensuring high-quality standards of care.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist advice in relation to care of people with diabetes
- Ensure the provision of a range of educational and training programs for the multidisciplinary team, patients, families, and carers
- Lead by example, motivating and empowering your team to ensure consistently high standards of care are set and delivered to patients living with diabetes
You will provide specialist knowledge to support colleagues in the effective management of patients with diabetes within an integrated diabetes service setting.
