We are looking for a Clinical Midwifery Specialist to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, providing exceptional care to women with diabetes across Brent, Ealing, Harrow, and beyond.

Role Overview

As a Clinical Midwifery Specialist, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including obstetric consultants, diabetic nurse specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centered care to women with diabetes.

You will be responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive care pathways for women with diabetes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing care pathways for women with diabetes
  • Providing advanced clinical midwifery skills, including decision-making, evidence-based practice, and highly developed practice skills
  • Mentoring and supervising junior staff, promoting their professional development
  • Participating in research and audit initiatives, contributing to the advancement of diabetes care

The successful candidate will receive a salary range of £45,840 - £64,618 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
