We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Community Midwifery Professional to join our team in Gloucestershire, England.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women and families, promoting a woman-centred approach and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.

A competitive salary of £42,076 - £58,220 per annum, depending on experience, is offered.

About the Role

You will be participating in an integrated midwifery model, working within both community and acute settings. Your main priority will be to demonstrate and promote a woman-centred style of clinical practice.

You will engage with women and their families to encourage and promote women-centred care, normalising their experience as much as possible.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide evidence-based, women-centred midwifery care to women and birthing people living in Gloucestershire.
  • To work flexibly within the Midwifery Service, providing individualised and culturally sensitive midwifery led/Consultant led care to women and their families.
  • Maintain compliance with service standards, policies and guidelines so that effective, safe care is provided at all times.
Requirements

Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

United Kingdom recognised Degree in Midwifery Practice.

Evidence of ongoing professional development through maintenance of professional portfolio and registration revalidation.
