Nutrition Specialist for Adults with Diabetes

We are recruiting a highly skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team at The Diabetes Times. As an Adult Diabetes Specialist Dietitian, you will provide evidence-based dietetic advice to adults with diabetes.

Based in Ealing Hospital, you will work closely with the other Diabetes Dietitians within the Trust and lead on clinical and service development projects. You will also support the Team Lead in monitoring, developing and evolving the dietetic service.

This role offers a great mix of one-to-one clinics and diabetes group education, including DAFNE and carbohydrate counting sessions delivered virtually and face to face.

The salary for this position is £60,000 per annum, based on national averages for similar roles in the NHS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based dietetic advice to adults with diabetes
  • Support the Team Lead in monitoring, developing and evolving the dietetic service
  • Lead on clinical and service development projects
  • Work closely with the other Diabetes Dietitians within the Trust
