The estimated annual salary for this position is £54,000 - £63,000, depending on experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Diabetes Dietitian Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at Princess Royal University Hospital and Orpington Hospital. As a key member of our diabetes service, you will provide comprehensive clinical support and dietetic advice to patients with diabetes, ensuring high standards of care and treatment.

  • Formulate and deliver individualized diabetes dietetic and education treatment plans based on evidence-based practice and treatment options.
  • Act as an expert resource involved in the development and provision of evidence-based dietetic diabetes nutrition services.
  • Provide high-quality specialist clinical advice and educational support to others involved in providing care for people with diabetes in the local community.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BSc/Postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • HCPC registered - Dietitian.
  • Previous dietetic experience within diabetes services, including management of enteral feeds.
  • Knowledge of dietetics within the NHS.
  • Advanced specialist knowledge demonstrated by evidence of post-registration courses and experiential learning, e.g., Diabetes module.
  • Experience of multidisciplinary team working.
