At SGS Care Ltd, we are seeking a Children's Care Specialist to join our dedicated team. This role involves managing the care and support of children with EBD in a residential setting.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with access to a gym and spa, discounts at shopping outlets, 5 weeks holiday per year, and a pension.

Job Description:

We are looking for an individual with a Level 5 NVQ in childcare or equivalent, and 3 years' experience in residential childcare. The post holder will be responsible for delivering high standards of physical, social, and emotional care, exceeding Ofsted guidance and standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a patient and empathetic approach, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of staff in providing person-centred support and care
  • Ensure that all activities meet the needs of children with EBD
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless care delivery
