About the Job:

We are looking for an accomplished Children's Social Work Team Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in placement management, team leadership, and child development. As a respected member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services, promoting positive child outcomes, and building strong partnerships with local authorities and other stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the daily activities of a team of social workers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care and services delivery
  • Design and implement strategies to enhance child well-being and placement stability
  • Maintain effective relationships with local authorities, schools, and other partners to guarantee seamless communication and coordination
  • Evaluate and assess foster homes, ensuring the provision of quality care and support
  • Monitor and analyze team performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing solutions

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in children's social work, with a focus on placement management and team leadership
  • Degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • Social Work England registration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and service users
