Bookkeeping Management Role

As a Bookkeeper Manager, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. This role requires a high level of proficiency in bookkeeping and a strong understanding of financial regulations.
Key Tasks- Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and coding
- Oversee accounts receivable, including creating invoices and sending to customers
- Lead credit control efforts, including sending statements and chasing overdue accounts
- Filing VAT returns and checking contents
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts, including foreign currency and complex transactions
- Process payroll, send payslips, and reconcile payments internally for PAYE
- Manage employee expense claims and produce reports for regular company meetings
- Ensure accuracy of ledgers and nominal accounts
- AAT Bookkeeping Level 2
- AAT Level 2 or above (desirable)
- Xero software experience (minimum 1 year) ideal
- Modern accounting software package essential
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- 1 year operating PAYE for 15+ staff
- Good understanding of foreign currency accounts, payments, and invoice processing
- Experience with an accountancy practice (desirable)
The salary for this role is up to £37,000 per annum. The position is full-time permanent and office-based. Benefits include free onsite parking, ongoing training, and social activities.
