Job Summary

A dynamic and experienced bookkeeper is required to manage the financial records of a busy group of businesses. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with excellent knowledge of Xero software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Payable and ensure timely payment to suppliers.
  • Create and process invoices, and ensure smooth reconciliation of payments.
  • Monitor and control credit exposure, chasing overdue accounts and ensuring timely payment.
  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Process Payroll, send payslips and reconcile payments internally.
  • Manage employee expenses and maintain accurate financial records.

Requirements:

  • AAT Bookkeeping Level 2 qualification
  • At least 1 year of experience working with Xero software
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Previous experience with PAYE for 15+ staff
  • Understanding of foreign currency accounts, payments, and invoice processing

Salary:

£32,000 - £40,000 per annum.
