Job Opportunity:
Nigel Wright Recruitment is excited to be supporting a leading manufacturer in their search for a Director of Sales and Strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a globally recognised brand and contribute to the development of their rental and safety services business unit in the UK and Ireland.

Role Summary:
This role involves driving sales, GGP, and profit growth by developing customers and enhancing the product portfolio within the Go-to-Market strategy framework. You will play a key role in shaping and developing the rental and safety services business unit in the UK and Ireland for our client.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive growth through strategic market routes and effective reporting.
  • Closely collaborate with sales teams to promote and sell RSS offerings.
  • Identify, develop, and acquire customer projects.
  • Conduct project calculations and control commercial results.
  • Ensure robust marketing and sales of new products.
  • Manage offers, tenders, and long-term customer projects.
  • Coordinate with departments to maximise sales and profit potential.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities.
  • Attend relevant events and trade fairs.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in business development and sales.
  • Prior experience in the rental of products or safety services or experience in selling and managing customised, managed services in a comparable industrial environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities, presenting offers, and concluding projects in collaboration with sales organisations.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A full UK driver's license and ability to travel on a regular basis, mainly across the UK & Ireland.

The estimated salary for this role is around £70,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
