About the Job:
- We are seeking an experienced Payroll / HR Administrator to join our team at Focus Resourcing Limited.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the HR Team with recruitment procedures, producing offer letters and contracts, and completing new starter checklists which include referencing.
- Carry out DBS and right to work checks, coordinate safeguarding training, and administer and process monthly payroll for all staff.
- Upload new starter information to the payroll system, calculating hours, enter changes onto the system such as sickness, holidays, leavers, and starters each month, and upload pension data to pension providers.
- Produce annual salary letters and upload salaries to the payroll system.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must have previous experience working in a payroll position and proven work history in a busy HR function.
- Requires a positive and outgoing attitude, ability to communicate with a wide range of people, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail.
- Intermediate user of MS Office and experience of Moorepay would be advantageous but not essential.
- A driver with own transportation due to the location.
Location:
- Outskirts of Reading – fully office-based.
Salary and Benefits:
- Estimated salary: £30,000 per annum.
