Workforce Planning and Resourcing Advisor

ENGINEERINGUK is seeking a highly skilled Workforce Planning and Resourcing Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective workforce planning strategies to ensure we have the right people in the right roles at the right time.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the recruitment team to provide insights on talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing, selection, and onboarding processes.
  2. Write compelling job adverts and prepare interview packs for the recruitment panel and interviewees.
  3. Support the team in updating process maps in Microsoft Visio.
  4. Analyse current workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  5. Develop and maintain workforce planning models to forecast future staffing needs based on business growth, turnover rates, and industry trends.
  6. Prepare and present workforce planning reports and recommendations to senior management, highlighting key metrics and strategic insights.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in workforce planning and resourcing, recommending improvements to current processes.
  8. Ensure all workforce planning activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  9. Work in a fast-paced environment/department.
  10. Proficiency in HRIS and data management systems.
  11. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  12. Experience using Microsoft Visio.
