The Office for Students is seeking a skilled Strategic Workforce Development Specialist to play a key role in shaping and implementing our people strategy.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you lead the resourcing function within our HR team, crafting the recruitment and resourcing strands of our people strategy and developing comprehensive talent initiatives that align with our organisational goals.

You will provide expert direction on attraction, recruitment, employer branding, and talent acquisition to ensure we meet our regulatory agenda and achieve our strategic objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic workforce planning to maximise potential
  • Lead a centralised approach to talent management
  • Craft the recruitment and resourcing strands of our people strategy
  • Develop comprehensive talent initiatives
  • Provide expert direction on attraction, recruitment, employer branding, and talent acquisition

About You

We are looking for an experienced talent and/or resourcing professional who can take a lead on strategic workforce planning, ensuring a centralised approach to talent management to maximise potential. You will work in partnership with colleagues across HR and the wider organisation; experience of building productive relationships with key stakeholders and influencing at senior levels is essential.

A flexible, creative approach, and excellent communications skills will also be essential.

Salary Range: £63,386 - £69,444 per annum
