This is an exciting opportunity to work with North East Derbyshire District Council in delivering essential services to the residents of Bolsover District Council.

The role, a job share position, involves providing advice and support to vulnerable individuals who require assistance in managing their personal circumstances.

Key objectives include:

  • Providing tailored support and guidance to residents facing challenges or hardships.
  • Assisting residents in accessing information, advice, and local services.
  • Focusing on addressing financial difficulties, food and fuel poverty, and health and wellbeing issues.

The outreach approach requires building relationships with other organisations to maximise reach and impact.

The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting residents in their homes, providing one-to-one support with tasks such as form filling, benefit checks, and budgeting. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential for this role.
