We are looking for experience care assistants to cover weekend hours within a beautiful care home based within Bolsover. You will be working alongside a friendly and experienced team to deliver a high quality of care for up to 24 residents. Due to the needs of the residents, we are looking for applicants who have a strong level of experience with the use of moving and handling equipment (inc. hoists, slings, stand aids and rotundas).

**Job Details**:

- Your general duties will include assisting the residents with their daily life, and personal care, supporting their physical and mental wellbeing, engaging in activities to promote the highest quality of life, and providing company and emotional support.
- You will be undertaking moving and handling duties on quite a regular basis.
- You will be working 07:00 to 14:15 or 14:00 to 22:00 over the weekends.
- Due to the location of this service, we are looking for applicants within the local area or with their own transport due as the timings of public transport options within the area do not match the shift requirements.

**The pay rate for this role is**:

- £11.44 per hour for hours worked between 07:00 to 19:00
- £15.22 per hour for hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00
- Be able to provide 2 years of professional referencing, including 1 from your most recent employer.
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. Practical moving and handling training)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 4 months or registered on the update service.
- Have a minimum of 12 months paid UK work experience working within a care home or nursing home setting.
- Have a full, up-to-date CV with a minimum of 5 years of employment history
