Day Care Assistant

About the Job:
We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Day Care Assistant to join our team in a residential care setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake personal care duties, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, ensuring residents' physical and emotional needs are met.
- Participate in activities designed to engage residents and promote a sense of community, such as arts and crafts, music therapy, and exercise classes.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure residents' safety and well-being, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain accurate records of resident care and activity plans.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare, social care).
- Minimum 12 months experience working in a residential care setting.
- Enhanced DBS check and registration on the update service.
- Valid mandatory training certificates (e.g., moving and handling).
- 2 years of professional referencing.
