We are seeking an experienced care assistant to join our team at a beautiful care home in Bolsover. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a friendly and experienced team, delivering high-quality care to residents.

Job Summary
  • This role involves assisting residents with daily life, personal care, and supporting their physical and mental wellbeing.
  • You will be working alongside a dedicated team to provide company and emotional support.
About the Role

As a care assistant, you will be responsible for undertaking moving and handling duties on a regular basis. You will be working 07:00 to 14:15 or 14:00 to 22:00 over weekends, covering a variety of shifts.

Please note that due to the location of this service, we require applicants within the local area or those with their own transport, as public transport options do not match the shift requirements.

Benefits
  • An estimated salary of £11.44 per hour for hours worked between 07:00 to 19:00 and £15.22 per hour for hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00.

Requirements
  • At least 12 months paid UK work experience working within a care home or nursing home setting.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 4 months or registered on the update service.
  • Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. Practical moving and handling training).
  • Be able to provide 2 years of professional referencing, including 1 from your most recent employer.
