Care Support Specialist

Quality Service Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team in Bolsover, supporting residents in a smaller care home.
Job OverviewThis is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others, working within a friendly and experienced team. As a Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all care plans are followed, providing personalized support to residents, and maintaining their safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate implementation of care plans to meet individual needs.
- Provide personalized support to residents, focusing on their likes, dislikes, and requirements.
- Participate in activities promoting resident engagement and entertainment.
- Assist with moving and handling equipment safely.
- Oversee resident health and safety at all times.
- Undertake basic cleaning duties, adhering to relevant rotas and procedures.
- 07:00 to 14:30
- 14:30 to 22:00
- 07:00 to 22:00
The hourly rate for this role is estimated at £11.44 for hours worked between 07:00 and 19:00, and £15.22 for hours worked between 19:00 and 07:00.
Requirements- Proven experience working in a care home or nursing home setting.
- Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 4 months or registered on the update service.
- In-date mandatory training certificates, including Practical Moving and Handling Training.
- 2 years of professional referencing, including 1 from your most recent employer.
- A minimum of 12 months paid UK work experience.
- A full, up-to-date CV with a minimum of 5 years of employment history.
