Culinary Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Catering Assistant. This role will provide an opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality meals to our customers.

The successful candidate will have a passion for food and excellent communication skills. They will be required to support the kitchen supervisor in all areas of the service, including food preparation, cooking, and portion control. The role may also involve working at a production unit or servery unit.

An estimated salary of £19,737 - £21,402 per annum is available for this position, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the kitchen supervisor in food preparation, cooking, and portion control

* Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality meals to our customers

* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety

Requirements:

* Passion for food and excellent communication skills

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment

* NVQ food hygiene certificate (successful completion upon appointment)
