Care Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at a smaller care home in Bolsover. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our residents. You will be working alongside an experienced and friendly team, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities- You will ensure that all care plans are followed to meet the individual needs of our residents.
- You will undertake personal care duties, including observation checks to maintain resident safety and hygiene.
- You will participate in activities to keep our residents engaged and entertained.
- You will safely use moving and handling equipment to assist residents as needed.
- You will prioritize the health and safety of our residents under your care.
We offer flexible working hours to accommodate your needs. Our shifts include:
- 07:00 to 14:30
- 14:30 to 22:00
- 07:00 to 22:00
The pay rate for this role is £11.44 per hour for hours worked between 07:00 to 19:00, and £15.22 per hour for hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00. We also offer a range of benefits, including the opportunity to work with a leading staffing agency in the Midlands and South Yorkshire.
Requirements- You must have at least 12 months paid UK work experience in a care home or nursing home setting.
- You should hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 4 months or registered on the update service.
- You should have a minimum of 5 years of employment history, with a full and up-to-date CV.
