Care Worker Position in Care Homes

Quality Service Recruitment is seeking a caring and dedicated individual to join our team as a support staff member in a residential care setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This includes assisting with personal care, administering medication, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on people's lives. As a support staff member, you will work closely with our experienced care team to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medication as required
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Support residents with their daily activities and engage them in meaningful interactions
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months paid UK work experience working within a care home or nursing home setting
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 4 months or registered on the update service
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. Practical moving and handling training)
- Be able to provide 2 years of professional referencing, including 1 from your most recent employer
We offer a competitive salary of £15.22 per hour for hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00 and £14.44 per hour for hours worked between 07:00 to 19:00. This role offers a stable and rewarding career path with opportunities for professional development and growth.
