We are seeking a highly skilled Business Unit Sales Manager to accelerate sales in our Central Medical Gas Equipment business unit. This is a national role with limited overseas travel, requiring the ability to spend time on the road.

About the Role

The successful candidate will effectively become the business unit manager for the range, owning the product area and involved in much more than selling. This is a succession element in the wider business, with opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the Central Medical Gas Equipment business unit
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, including NHS Facilities and Estates Depts, NHS Authorised/Competent Engineers, and Installation Companies
  • Work closely with the engineering team to understand customer needs and develop solutions
  • Manage and own the product area, including product development and launch
  • Collaborate with the wider business to identify opportunities for growth and development
Requirements
  • Experience and understanding of NHS Central Gas Distribution
  • Degree qualified in an engineering subject or significant relevant experience
  • Experience in selling and engineering-based medical devices/equipment to typical customers
  • Ability to spend time on the road, with limited overseas travel
Package

We offer a competitive salary of up to £70,000pa, with a bonus structure of 12% easy, 20% realistic, and 40% stretch. Additionally, we provide a company car or allowance, pension matching, and group life insurance.
