Job Title: Children's Unit Manager Lead

We are seeking an experienced Children's Unit Manager to join our team in Nottingham, supporting children with various conditions transitioning into independent living or back home with families.

Your role will be to manage the Supported Accommodation provision, ensuring the physical, emotional and safety needs of children are protected and promoted. You will work within Government Guidance, City Council core values and strategic aims, and Department policies and procedures to meet Quality Standards and achieve good outcomes for Children Looked After in the provision.

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • Manage a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support to children in our residential units.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless transitions for children moving between services.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in residential childcare or equivalent.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with challenging behavior.
