About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at TRCGroup. As a key member of our residential services, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading their team, working collaboratively with other professionals, and providing therapeutic care and support tailored to each child's needs. This includes supervising and mentoring staff, organizing work patterns, facilitating care-focused training, and accessing appropriate services to support childcare practices within the home.

Responsibilities
  • Lead your team and work with other professionals to provide exceptional care and support to children and young people.
  • Act as a positive role model for colleagues and children, fostering an environment of recovery, growth, and lasting change.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality care.
  • Oversee all day-to-day management matters, maintaining high standards of care and ensuring the smooth operation of the home.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working within a residential children's home.
  • NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare, or willingness to work towards it.
  • Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience with budgets and rotas.
  • A full driving licence is essential.
