About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Renal Medicine and General Medicine Expert to join our team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will contribute to the care of General Medicine inpatients, oversee a ward of medically fit patients, and assist with the medical post take from a General Medicine perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Renal Tubular and Genetics Disorder Service, which encompasses rare inherited and tubular disorders.
  • Contribute to renal ward cover and the on-call rota.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A CCT in Nephrology and General Internal Medicine is required, or completion within six months.
  • Effective communication skills in English to discuss medical topics with patients and colleagues.

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000-£110,000 per annum.
