We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with pharmacists and technicians on our wards at Fulbourn Hospital, carrying out various medicines management activities. This role is responsible for the day-to-day service provision of a high-quality clinical medicines management service to in-patient mental health wards.

Main Duties:
  • Contribute to service development within the clinical medicines management service.
  • Act as the primary contact point for any problems or issues that arise within these parts of the pharmacy service.
Person Specification

This role requires the following qualifications and skills:

  • BTEC/NVQ3 Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Medicines Management qualification to degree level or equivalent.
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy, multidisciplinary team working, research, clinical trials, or audit.
  • Knowledge of medicines management procedures, such as PODs and self-administration.

We offer a competitive salary of £31,365 per annum, depending on experience.
