About Us:
We are Pegasus School, a small, independent special school dedicated to providing education and care to young people with complex needs.
The Role:
We are seeking a Health and Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our students.
You will be responsible for undertaking assessments to identify physical and mental health needs, determining the appropriate level of intervention and care management, and providing professional advice and support to colleagues.
In addition, you will promote an understanding of and develop health and wellbeing services within the school to maximise personal wellbeing and promote independence.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake assessments to identify physical and mental health needs
- Determine the appropriate level of intervention and care management
- Provide professional advice and support to colleagues
- Promote an understanding of and develop health and wellbeing services
- Liaise with internal and external colleagues and partners to promote an integrated approach to meeting student needs
Requirements:
- A driving licence holder
- A good role model and able to use your initiative
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to motivate and develop staff
- Flexible
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
