We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Health and Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a member of our dynamic and innovative team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality health and wellbeing services to the populations of Wirral, Cheshire East, and West, St Helens, and Knowsley.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and wellbeing, with experience in working with children and young people. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve emotional health and wellbeing among this age group, creating sustainability within the service and wider partnerships.

This is an integrated role that requires collaboration with locality teams, providing consultative advice, and participating in training and development for other professionals. The post holder will support the development of the 0-25 service, working in partnership with the Local Authority, partner agencies, and Primary Care Teams.

Requirements

  • RN (Adult or Child/RSCN) with a minimum of two years post-basic training
  • Postgraduate qualification in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing - School Nursing/Health Visiting equivalent
  • Experience in therapeutic intervention and motivational interviewing
  • Leadership Level 6 and Mentorship Level 6 qualifications

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £45,500 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience.
