The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is seeking a highly experienced Commercial Leadership Role to lead its Extended Education division. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £80,000 per annum.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior commercial leader to drive innovation and growth in the delivery of LSE's open enrolment short courses and distance learning programmes. As Head of Business Development and Partnerships, you will develop and implement long-term strategies to ensure alignment with LSE's academic and commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and expand qualifications and course offerings.
  • Lead the relationship between LSE and the University of London, ensuring high standards in programme assessment, quality, and governance.
  • Manage and motivate a diverse team, fostering collaboration with the Business Development team and ensuring aligned objectives.

You will be an experienced and strategic leader with a strong track record in managing large commercial relationships. You will bring strong commercial acumen and have proven expertise in developing and implementing long-term strategies that drive commercial objectives and revenue growth.
