HR Business Partner

Bucks Skills Hub is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our managers with day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with best practices and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage employee relations, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee absence management, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
- Lead recruitment efforts, attracting and retaining top talent.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, providing a seamless experience for employees.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate monthly payroll processing.
- Contribute to HR projects aimed at improving processes and enhancing the employee experience.
- Chartered Member of Institute of Personnel and Development.
- First Degree or equivalent.
- A detailed practical knowledge of Employment Law and Good Employment Practices.
- Experience in a service industry or education/local government setting.
- Implementation of HR plans and professional involvement in reward management, salary administration, performance management, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Managerial/administrative involvement in change programmes and reorganisations.
- Experience of advising in respect of disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings.
- Experience of dealing with Employment Tribunals.
- Experience of managing Payroll departments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to get messages across clearly and to make presentations to all levels of staff.
- Able to use own initiative and work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent skills with written communication and numeracy.
- Analytical and customer orientated, with a concern for excellence.
- Sound judgment and results orientated, with the ability to promote and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Ability to use full ICT facilities supporting the learning process.
