Medication Administration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at The Village at Orchard Ridge. As a medication administration specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents. With a strong background in medication administration techniques and safety protocols, you will observe and report any changes in patients' conditions or medication reactions, maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient medication administrations.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications to patients in accordance with their prescribed treatment plans
- Monitor patients' response to medication and report any adverse reactions or concerns
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year experience as a CMA, preferably in a similar healthcare setting, and possesses excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. You also have outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, genuine compassion and patience when interacting with patients, and proficiency in electronic health record systems. Our competitive salary range is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes next day pay, tuition reimbursement, and more.
