**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Medical Specialist to join our team at Central Indiana Orthopedics PC. This role is ideal for an individual with experience in patient care and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, preparing patients for examination and treatment, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' conditions, note reactions to treatments, and obtain vital signs.
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by observing, recording, and assessing their condition.
  • Provide care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.
  • Coordinate scheduling of surgery for patients and referrals to other physicians as necessary.
  • Update and maintain patient files, records, and electronic health records.
  • Perform selected nursing duties, including assisting physicians in minor surgeries, procedures, and physicals.
  • Explain and demonstrate home physical therapy exercises or rehabilitation techniques to patients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing, Medical Assisting, or Athletic Training.
  • Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) OR Indiana state Licensed Practical Nurse license (LPN).
  • Maintain current CPR and Emergency First Aid certifications.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
