About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 5 Civilian Dental Practice Manager to join our team at the Ministry of Defence (Defence Medical Services). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support for the provision of dental care in Defence Primary Health Care Dental Centres.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake CPD in core subjects, including medical emergencies, infection prevention control, and radiography.
  • Manage and supervise referrals to Specialist Practitioners and Secondary Care facilities.
  • Ensure systems are in place for patients to claim approved costs associated with dental care.
  • Manage dental records and ensure the correct receipt, dispatch, registration, and storage of health records.

Requirements

  • Must hold the National Examination Board of Dental Nurses (MEBDN) qualification.
  • Registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
